Screen Saver Gallery can finally start automatically when your computer is inactive!
This is a bit of a technical achievement for me because the app is now 6 years old!
Turns out the solution was fairly easy. A Windows screensaver is simply an
exe file with a
scr extension. I was able to make a simple helper file which starts the SSG app as needed.
- Update the app to be start-able in
- Create a helper
.scrfile is triggered by Windows, and the file starts Screen Saver Gallery in the correct mode.
